MARYLAND

Chanteclaire Farm is a restored 1890 barn on a scenic farm serving as a wedding, private party and banquet facility. Kim spent the Fall of 2014 in the Appalachian Mountains, working on a pilot for Animal Planet called "Restoration Wild". With a modest budget, we transformed this old silo into a bar space for the venue.

We cut a garage door style opening in the base of the silo for circulation, added a metal staircase and mezzanine for musicians, and created an stain glass style art installation 25' - 40' up the wall. The chandelier was designed using repurposed farm equipment and recycled wine bottles.

Lights hang on repurposed tire snow chains. Kim stenciled the Chanteclaire rooster on the floor over reclaimed wood. All materials and pieces in the silo were restored from previous lives. Check out the episode on Animal Planet.
